I am a person who'd much rather live in the countless, fictional realities talented writers before me have created. My goal is to create a world for fans to get lost in and enjoy. I grew up in San Leandro, CA and as much as I tried, I could never keep my head out of the clouds. Slipping into my spontaneous day-dreams became an enjoyable daily activity for me. Many friends, teachers, and family members have caught me staring off into empty space, and in 2010, I was finally asked by my sister, "Where do you go?" I feel I can finally answer that question through my writing.
Born in the depths of Union City, I managed to conquer the hardships of life with every sliver of my being. I grew up in a time where I had to walk to the TV to change the channel and learn manhood through untangling two super Nintendo controllers. Oh did the hardships get worse when they released the N64 and the torture doubled!! And although through recent sorcery controllers have now been able to be wireless, the hardships continue with losing controllers in couch cushions, laying beside the TV remote. I pray for the day these troubles are lost.
I'm a regular city chick who thrives on aesthetics and second opinions. My passion for turtles remains unmatched. I would love nothing more than to share my love for drawing and colors with the rest of the world. I have a long way to go, however I have always believed that everyone deserves at least a thousand tries at something before they get it right. As I've learned from this inelegant trip through life, there are dreams that are meant to be caught, and others meant to be chased forever. The trick is to never lose sight of them.
A programmer who's been obsessed with video games since the age of three. I'm so obsessed with video games, my video game development began with reverse engineering video games. I now work for a small video game company while also developing with nsomniart. I'm not afraid to take risks and try new things in video game development.
If I could have a super power, it would be to freeze time! But in real life, that can never happen. So instead I stay awake while it seems the world sleeps, then I get to steal hours from the night. There's peace, quiet, and solitude. It seems to bring out my imagination and maximize concentration. This is the closest I could ever get to stopping time.
What is art? I definitely don't know, but I know that it can come from anywhere. Growing up I was always interested in figuring what that could mean for me. From tracing cartoons to drawing people in real life, art can be created with any kind of purpose, it's what ever makes sense to you. With life being so crazy and unpredictable, it's really fun to see what you can find. I want to make the best of my world and I know for a fact that art can help me get there.
